Salvation Army Real Estate Wednesdays Program

Due to a shortage of Volunteers, in 2013, The Salvation Army created a successful program called “Real Estate Wednesdays”.  Each Wednesday in December, Realtors volunteer at the Red Kettles every year.

Robin Rotella and her Team, with Keller Williams Integrity First Realty in Gold Canyon, were instrumental in helping make a significant contribution to the Salvation Army in 2013 and 2014 and were out there again ringing the bell every Wednesday in 2015 at Bashas Grocery Store in Gold Canyon.

In 2014, more than 1300 home ownership industry volunteers raised more than $132,000 for the Salvation Army along with the savings from not having to hire paid workers.  The goal for 2015 was $250,000 - $300,000.
